Easigrass™ System

The fitting team arrives at the date and time that suits the customer's needs (you may want an early start or a lie in...).

 

The team is comprised of 1 senior fitter and 2 semi skilled helpers.

 

We will remove soil down to a maximum depth of 60cm (this may vary subject to the land conditions).

 

All earth is removed from site by ourselves either in our own vehicles or the skips provided.

 

We then compact all the earth.

 

We apply a heavy duty geo-textile membrane which acts as a weed barrier.

 

We then introduce a specialist grit sand sub-base which is then compacted, screed bar levelled and then fine floated using specialist equipment to create a perfect level base.

 

We then install a 25mm interlocking shockpad base which assists in 3 ways:
1. It saves on having to remove excess materials and re-introducing new materials
2. It helps maintain the integrity of the levels over the course of time (no bumps in our system)
3. It introduces an element of safety into the Easigrass™ system (1.3m critical fall height) safety is always paramount...!

 

We then fit the Easigrass™ the client has chosen.

 

Finally, we dress the grass using a silica infill using specialist equipment to drive sand into the base of the carpet where it is hardly noticeable.

 

On areas where we have to join the Easigrass™ we do this by supplying and installing a 2 part commercial adhesive seem joint.
