Lady Margaret School PTA
The Lady Margret School Summer Fair or Garden Party was a great success on Sunday and we are grateful for your very generous support. The school is a Church of England voluntary aided comprehensive school for girls of 598 pupils and approximately 70 staff. Each year the PTA organises a fundraising event that attracts around 1000 people. In the event our ‘Games Playground’ at our garden party provided six games – bowls, quoits, a key game, bean bag throwing, walking stilts and picking up ducks from a bath. The grass made all the difference to the games and created a very pleasant atmosphere and admiring glances from several parents. The weather was wonderful and the stall made over £110 which pays for the text books for a class. But also important to us is the bringing together of parents and pupils. All this would not have been possible without your generosity. Thanks you so much.
